mee suah th'ng

Ingredients:
2 bundles of mee suah
2 cloves of garlic
2 meatballs
1 egg
water
salt and pepper

Preperation:
Boil 1 bowl of water
Chop the garlic
Slice the meatballs
Beat the egg

Method:
1. Stir fry the garlic and the sliced meatballs.
2. Pour the fried ingredients into the boiling water.
3. Boil until fragrant and add in salt and pepper to taste.
4. Add in mee suah.
5. Once done, turn off fire and add in beaten egg.

Serves 1

well, this is another dish that is simple but a lil bit unbalanced. i don't have any greens left so this is what i came up with. anyways, it is healthier than instant noodles :p eating this mee suah th'ng reminds me of two occasions; chinese new year's breakfast and birthday's breakfast. but for those occasions, the egg is hard boiled first instead of beaten up.

mee suah symbolizes longevity, hence it is used in those occasions i guess. anyway, longevity or not, it sure is nostalgic having mee suah th'ng here.
